Mile Marker

Know the mile marker you're on.

Mile Marker reads your phone's GPS and shows the highway and TxDOT mile marker you are on, to the tenth. It works with no cell signal.

What it does

Your exact spot

Highway, mile marker to the tenth, direction, and the next sign ahead. Swipe up for county, nearest town, nearest crossroad and coordinates, and a one-line location you can copy or share.

No signal needed

Every marker is stored on the phone, so the reading keeps working where the cell bars don't. The map and directions need signal.

Find any marker

Search "US 67 716", "I-10 350" or a county road like "CR 411", then get directions to it inside the app.

On a county road

It shows which county road you're on and how many miles you are from the highway it meets, plus that highway's mile marker. For example: CR 411, 8.0 miles southeast of SH 163 at marker 472.4.

Pins and saved spots

Long-press the map to drop a pin, or save the spot you're standing on. Saved places stay on your phone.

Groups

Join a group with a share code to see each other on the map and share pins. Sharing your location is off until you turn it on.

Where it works

All 13 Concho Valley counties in West Texas: Coke, Concho, Crockett, Irion, Kimble, Mason, McCulloch, Menard, Reagan, Schleicher, Sterling, Sutton and Tom Green. Your location is never sent to us

No account, no ads, no analytics, no tracking. Apple's map services use your location to draw the map and find addresses, and your group sees it only if you choose to share. Read the privacy policy.

In an emergency, call 911

Mile Marker does not contact anyone for you. It tells you where you are so you can say it clearly. Check the reading against the posted signs when you can, and set it up before you drive.
